Hunch wins giant jackpot

Have you ever had a hunch that your luck is up and that you should hit your local casino or go online to try cash in? While the majority of people with these hunches probably ignore them, last week one gamer in Florida followed her hunch and promptly won the biggest jackpot in Florida's history.

Terese Moore, a resident of Tampa, Florida, was feeling lucky last Tuesday when she decided to visit the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to try her luck in a car draw. Moore soon hit the slots, and within minutes found herself $200 up.

Realising that luck was on her side, Moore moved to the Wheel of Fortune Mega Jackpot, and minutes later won the main jackpot prize of $2.5 million. The massive jackpot was created by pooling jackpot contributions to the game from 300 different casinos around the country.

"It's kind of like the jackpots are so much bigger because its got so many other people playing at the same time," Gina Morales, spokesman for the Tampa casino, told Casino City News.

Moore plans to use some of her winnings to pay off her mortgage.
