The production of the show is believed to have cost in the region of $100 million, with an astonishing $500,000 shelled out for the lavish party which was organised to allow the show's cast to mingle with the 3,000 ticket-holders for the opening night.

Amongst the luxuries dished out to guests at the party were imported cigars, massages and and makeup makeovers. The Cirque du Soleil's Canadian founder Guy Laliberté was in attendance, and invited a number of guests to his home for an exclusive after party following the conclusion of the pool-side party at the Luxor.

The Cirque du Soleil's Criss Angel Believe will run at the Luxor Hotel and Casino twice a night for five days a week, and is expected to generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue as one of Las Vegas' most sought after shows.
